STATUTORY DECLARATION UNDER RTI ACT, 2005
The Right to Information, Statutory Declaration under Right to Information Act (hereinafter Act), 2005 has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force on 15 June 2005 and subsequently enforced on 05th October 2005. This Act provides access to information under the control of public authorities to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority coming under the ambit of Section 2(H) of the Act.

No. WB (Part-III/2015/SAR-4 dated JANUARY 21, 2015 in exercise of the power conferred under section 28 of the JIS University, West Bengal Act, 2014/15/16 (West Bengal Act No. No. 81-L. -- 2lst January of 2015); it comes within the meaning of Public Authority and under the purview of Right to Information Act, 2005.
