Nutritional Programme at IINR: Promoting Health and Wellness Through Practical Learning

Hands-On Experience Through the Nutritional Programme at IINR

The Nutritional Programme at the International Institute of Nursing and Research was an inspiring event where Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing 1st year students demonstrated their understanding of diet, wellness, and health education. Organised at the IINR campus, the programme provided students with an opportunity to put classroom knowledge into practice, fostering a deeper appreciation for the importance of nutrition in patient care and community health.

During the event, students prepared a range of healthy and balanced dishes that reflected both creativity and scientific understanding. They also designed visually engaging posters to spread awareness about proper nutrition and lifestyle choices. This initiative helped students develop essential skills in nutritional assessment, diet planning, and health promotion.

Guidance, Evaluation, and Appreciation

The Nutritional Programme at IINR was graced by our respected Principal ma’am and dedicated faculty members, who evaluated and tasted the students’ preparations. Their valuable feedback and encouragement motivated the participants to strive for excellence and continue exploring innovative ways to promote health through nutrition.

By combining theory with practical learning, IINR continues to nurture compassionate and knowledgeable nursing professionals committed to improving community well-being through education, research, and hands-on experience.
