International Institute of Nursing and Research (IINR), Kalyani proudly participated in the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Mission Spandan, reaffirming its commitment to promoting a healthy, addiction-free society. The institute organized a mass pledge ceremony as part of the nationwide 10 Crore Drug-Free Pledges Campaign, encouraging students to become ambassadors of positive social change.
The program was conducted in the sacred memory of Dadi Prakashmani Ji and witnessed enthusiastic participation from nursing students, faculty members, and representatives associated with the campaign. The event was organized in collaboration with the Medical Wing of Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation and Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, organizations dedicated to fostering moral values, holistic well-being, and social responsibility.
During the session, students were educated about the harmful effects of substance abuse on individuals, families, and society. Speakers emphasized the importance of making informed lifestyle choices and highlighted the role of future healthcare professionals in spreading awareness about drug prevention and rehabilitation. Through interactive discussions and motivational guidance, participants gained a deeper understanding of the need for collective action against addiction.
